This scapular features an image of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel—from whom the brown scapular devotion comes! Released on the Feast of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in 2020, this special scapular commemorates the Carmelite origins of the brown scapular devotion. We are truly blessed that the Carmelites have offered this devotion to all of the faithful.
Bringing much-needed innovation to this beloved sacramental, our scapulars are made with super-strong American paracord and super-soft Australian merino wool. Plus, the patent-pending design includes a pocket for your favorite sacred medal—so it won’t wear your cord out! In fact, if it wears out from normal usewithin 3 years, we'll replace it for free.

I have experienced a miracle while wearing my scapular, i got sepsis, lost almost all my muscle mass, thus losing my stability and having a fall, bursting a spinal disc, was bed ridden, had to have aids get me out and in to bed. i kissed my scapular daily, prayed for an intercession to help me regain my health, did not ask to be remade perfect or perfect, with my prayers, devotions, and intercession, i am being released from physical therapy now walking with a cane, driving, and mobile with improvements daily, there is no way anyone can convince me that i was not the recipient of a miracle and intercession, look at my medical records. i did not ask to be fixed, i asked for help to help me return to being functional. and that's a fact jack. venerate this miraculous religious artifact a devout Catholic. Great quality scapular I can tell by how thick it is and the way the image was ingrained into the fabric is neat, now I don’t have to worry about the scapulars Image becoming very faded. This is a great choice for someone who’s working in the heat and sweating all day everyday!
I purchased 6 of these and 2 child size, back in June.
Having 5 children we have gone through many many! many! scapulars. So many. In the past 18 years. Growing children freely give to the ground their scapulars and medals and rosaries, my yard has them all over. Thank you holy mother church for the burying option for sacramentals.! I wasnt too upset for losing them though. They were thin and broke ALL the time.! I couldt make it a week before 1 child tells me.! “My scapular broke” or it came unglued or turned grey. So imagine my surprise when after month 1,2,3,………7!! That theyre still together.! Not itching , not ungluing and by the grace of God not lost. Oh my children and theyre crazy horse jumping tree climbing upside game playing adventures. So many were lost.

I was wondering if the premium scapular has a Stiffert cord that one I liked better than the softer one that I have now I’m thinking of re-ordering because this wasn’t exactly what I want but my old pair is old so I’d like to get another pair just like the one I had Anyway I’m just talking out loud

If I could prove to you that God definitively exists. Would you go to the doctor of life as you were born in this world unclean and repent? I would like to believe that you would. All of humanity every single person on this Earth. Democrat, Republican, British, Black, Indian, Muslim, etc etc etc etc on and on in an Infinity Circle are all connected! We are connected through Christ our brother! So if God definitely exists and I can prove that to you would you change your life in such a way that would honor him right? Will this be easy? No absolutely not! Will this be fun absolutely. Will this bring you Happiness in your life and Joy to others? Yes. Will you finally understand why humanity needs to change for the better? I like to believe that you would. Humans have the intellectual capacity for rational thought. Now humans also don't like what they hear a lot of the time, in fact almost all of the Time. Unless we are at one with God. Then we're happy. I know that we're happy because, I am truly happy. I am truly happy for the first time in my life! Prior to a week ago I was a Catholic in name only. This morning I went to a mass at my local Parish in Ontario New York St Maximilian Kolbe Parish. Formerly known as St Mary's of the Lake.
The date was October 19th World Mission Sunday. I listened to every single word said in the mass and how it applied directly to the situation at hand. I cried through Mass, I laughed through mass. I was so happy looking at the crucifixion. I was so sad, looking at the crucifixion. I can't believe that God has chosen me to be the person to explain these things to you! I can't even begin to fathom why he chosen me. I am a terrible person. I have done things that have just made people want to vomit.. Things that have made people scared. Things that have people hate me, made people love me made people... I'm at a lack of words. So you're thinking Josh spit it out already! I'd like to start with the Our Father prayer. Most people know this prayer. Our Father who art in heaven Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. On Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses. As we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but Deliver Us from Evil. Amen. For Thine is the kingdom the power and the glory now and forever Amen. Now after saying the Our Father looking at those words,understanding the meaning of each of those words, I'm going to ask you three questions. No 1. If you were to die right now would you go to heaven? No. 2 Do you love your family
No 3. Do you know what love truly means? As a Catholic, I know what those are for myself right now.
Catholic teaching states that the true definition of love is to desire heaven for the people around you. That is the truest definition of love! You love your partner, you love your husband, your wife, your family, your friends etc etc. You want all of them to get to achieve heaven correct? The Roman Catholic Church is the way to do this! Now I understand that the Roman Catholic church has it s dark dark grotesque spots in history. They continue to this very day as we all know. Man sins! No one in the Catholic Church will deny this to you not one Catholic. We are all human, we all sin, we all commit error. Egregious error!
SIN is what we all have in common as humans. Now that I have told you what the Catholic Church believes in regarding love.
I am also going to tell you that I came to this realization while smoking marijuana. I was at my home in my bed under my covers. I was watching a television show called Call to Midwife on Netflix. If anybody doesn't know what the show is it starts in the late 50S. I'm in the 9th season right now and it reminds people of the past. How all these things that are currently wrong with our world came to BE. The fact that I thought about this idea while smoking marijuana was a huge huge revelation let me explain to you why. I thought the Nuns in the show were Catholic nuns. They are not!
Currently the Catholic Church teaches this on marijuana.
The Catholic Church teaches that the recreational use of marijuana is a GRAVE offense (a mortal sin) because it damages health and impairs one's ability to use reason and free will. Its use is only considered morally acceptable for strictly therapeutic (medicinal) purposes, under a physician's supervision.
Anyone who has smoked or used marijuana knows that marijuana does not impair one's ability to use reason and free will. CAN IT? MOST ASSUREDLY YES! Can using MJ become a mortal sin sure. If you use it and get behind the wheel of a vechile just as with alcohol. You could kill someone. Not on purpose but accidentally. However in this example you chose to injest MJ prior to driving.
So now knowing all of this will you go to the doctor of Life? Unclean as you were brought into this world and beg, beg for his forgiveness? I did and I will continue to do so for the rest of my life as a Roman Catholic. I thank him everyday every second of every day, every millisecond of every day; That this happened. As hard as this is going to be for the world I'm so excited that this happened. I personally have to atone for my son. I need to explain to him why this happened and what happens now. The answer is honestly nothing in your life will immediately change. You will wake up tomorrow and be the same person. However what you choose to do after you wake up that is what is important. My suggestion is to go out and purchase a brown scapular. Put it on your neck and wear it until you are able to make a confession to a Roman Catholic priest. After you've done this you need to do what is called a general confession that is where you read a book by a man named Saint Augustine. The book is called Confessions. In this book he recounts every sin he ever committed that he could bring to memory from the beginning of his fall from grace during childhood .I'm currently in this process . In order to make this a perfect General confession between God and I . I have put away marijuana locked it in my safe until I have completed this task ! This is my mission, this is my calling. I used to go through scapulars quickly. Wearing them in the shower, working out with them, everything contributed to a rapid wearing that resulted in the thin cords snapping. These scapulars are excellent, wear well, and last for years. My current one has been going strong for about five years and has a nice pouch for a small medal. I currently have the Holy Face of Jesus inside of mine. Couldn't recommend these scapulars more. Do yourself a favor, and do what Our Lady told us...wear your scapular!
Hands down the best scapular you can get! It’s actually indestructible and very high quality durable material. What I love most about it is that you can put a miraculous medal in it which allows you to have a devotion to both of Mary’s esteemed sacramentals. I’m 6’1 and prefer the 14”, the shorter the better imo.

Very comfortable ! When praying I was starting to have trouble focusing. Then that week at mass the homily involved the brown scapular and the benefits of saying the rosary daily as well as living a chaste life. Beautiful scapular! Very soft wool and not scratchy at all. I love the longer cord on this one as I'm a nurse and it was always falling out of my scrubs with the shorter length. The pocket in the scapular for the Miraculous Medal is a great innovation. Double your graces and protection from Our Lady!
